The World Alliance for Efficient Solutions, established by the Solar Impulse Foundation, brings together the main actors involved in developing, financing or promoting products, services, processes and technologies that protect the environment in a profitable way.
November, 14th to 16th, we are at World Climate Summit during COP23
This event – the first to be hosted by a small island state, will be important to discuss our solutions for island territories and learn more from islanders around the world. We will be exhibiting under the ADEME, the French Agency for the Environment and Energy Management, Pavilion in Kameha Grand Hotel, Bonn, Germany.

Atoll Energy joins the District Energy in Cities – a UN Environment Initiative
Atoll Energy welcomes this important initiative of UN Environment that was launched during Paris COP21. The initiative aims to accelerate the transition of cities in emerging economies and developing countries to low-carbon, climate resilient societies through modern district energy systems.The company is pleased to be part of it and the team looks forward working with UN Environment and its partners to accelerate the deployment of district energy.

Seychelles District Cooling feasibility - Final workshop
Atoll Energy was commissioned by the SEC, Seychelles Energy Commission, and the GOS-UNDP-GEF to provide a comprehensive feasibility to use local resources to feed a district cooling plant in Victoria, capital of the Seychelles. Most of electricity in tropical islands is used for cooling. Energy efficiency is therefore of utter importance in this area. Measurement campaigns from both local heat resources and cooling needs were performed in order to provide a viable scenario.

Atoll Energy part of French State visit to the Philippines against global warming
Atoll Energy President Elena Barbizet will be taking part in Mr Hollande’s State visit to the Philippines from 26 to 28 February, in view of the upcoming conference “Paris Climat 2015” that the city will host from 2 to 9 December 2015. The president Hollande will be accompanied by several ministers, scholars and public figures working for the environment, as well as corporations whose technologies contribute to the drive for change towards a low carbon emission economic model.
Atoll Energy is delighted to be part of the French State visit to the Philippines (an island nation with purposely tailored energy solutions) as part of its commitment to diversifying the global energy mix with the aim of opting for cost-efficient and eco-friendly energy solutions.

To record it client’s consumption profiles, Atoll Energy developed a multi-sources temporary metering solution. Functioning with RF and fitted to long-distance communication, it collects measures from industrial processes and housing from one to several months. All the details here.

2013, December: Atoll Energy to cooperates with the CEA - the French Alternatives Energies Commission - to design and commission the QuadriTherm test bench
Atoll Energy and the French institution signed a cooperation agreement that will bring the QuadriTherm technology to the CEA Cadarache. Atoll Energy will design and commission a test bench that will
reproduce any combined heat and power configuration based on measured consumption profiles from commercial and industrial sites. More info here
2013, october: Back from the Maldives
According to
REEGLE, diesel fuel accounts for 70 % of the Maldives energy balance. Back from the island state, we found those drawing on Male central power plant especially mooving, reinforcing our willingness to provide for smarter diesel heat-recovery solutions there. Some more soon.
